What was the last conference or webinar you attended?
Did you learn some great content? Probably. Did you walk away with action steps? Maybe.
Good content is not enough. You need to implement what you learn and do it quickly. Otherwise, a year later you'll be stuck in the same place.
You need to make a small decision, take action and evaluate. Decide, act, evaluate–wash, rinse, repeat. Through iteration, a series of small decisions becomes a large change.
What change do you want to make in your business? What change have you dreamed of year after year?
The AltAccountant is a movement to which only the top 5% of accountants and bookkeepers belong–differentiated and united around a business model that swims against the stream.
If you do the work, you will feel more confident doing three crucial things.
- Creating your professional positioning–a clear way to communicate who you serve and why they want to pay you more.
- Confidence in pricing that transcends the measurement of time and embraces the value of results.
- A framework for innovation that will inspire you to create new products and services to serve your clients in such a unique way that you are never seen as a commodity.
We are not teaching efficiency, workflow, data entry, etc. We are not engulfing you in theory.
We want you to create projects with practical meaning and transferable lessons that you can implement in your practice immediately. And, we want you to build deep relationships so strategic masterminds are formed.
Why The AltAccountant?
We have developed online courses for years. The one piece of feedback we hear more than any other is, “How do I ________?”
“How do I?” is code for “I want to take action now.” And, we hear you.
After researching online education, we discovered the altMBA by Seth Godin. After studying his model and talking to altMBA graduates, we created the AltAccountant.
The AltAccountant emphasizes doing over learning, because learning happens by doing. The faster you do, the faster you learn. And, if you have a team to support you, you accomplish more.
